Standard Variable Rate - has anyone switched on to this?

With falling interest rates has anyone done this/is considering doing it?

Ours is now standard variable rate, our mortgage has gone down by almost 1/2 in 5 months.

we switched from fixed when it ended in dec to tracker of 0.49% above base rate

IDTCS - sounds like your lender has passed rate on. Skipton is still at 4.5, will go to 4.0 in March!

DF - it's all about timing isn't it. wish mine were going to expire soon.
