Arrangementfees for fixed rate mortgages

OMG! can't believe how expensive these are.

My rate ends in March and I'm thinking of finding another one, does anyone know of a good rate with a manageable arrangement fee?

The lowest so far is around a £1000

That sopunds about right. Some let you add it onto the mortgage. Some even charge a % of the loan which can be loads£££.
