Divorce - again

I did write this question before but i cant find it.

I met a South African guy in the UK and we lived together for 3 years. We then got married in South Africa in June 2007 and he was then refused entry into the UK. After appeal after appeal i learnt that he'd been here ilegally all along

Do i have a case for a nullment of the marriage? He is refusing to consent to a divorce just to make my life difficult

Thanks

no case for annulling marriage but you can petition on the basis of his desertion (once apart for 2 years) on the basis that he led you to believe he couldn't join you in the UK which appears not to be the case or alternatively (and probably quicker and easier) just divorce him on his unreasonable behaviour.

He didnt lead me to believe he COULdNT join me - he was here ilegally (although i didnt know) and was refused entry. Can i petition even tough he's saying that he wont agree?
