any suggestions on tightening belts. My hubby works 6 days a week, i have 2 ptime jobs and we are still struggling. The prob stems cos my dd is ill quite a lot so i quite often have to phone in sick at work, both jobs are just casual and dont pay me if i am off-when she is in hospital i dont get anything, therefore we are in debt on cc odrafts etc just from paying bills. How do you get yourself out of this hole-any suggestions? I do not want to lose our home

The CAB will help you with all of this, just take all of your paperwork with you (bills/statements) and they will go through them with you. They are also able to halt interest on debts that you have.

otherwise try and pay a minumum amount to all creditors to look like u r trying and get a letter and send it out to explain if you keep in touch with companies they r more helpful
