They say I have to go, it was suppossed to be on moday gone, but I rang them and told them I couldn't make it (am due a baby anyday)
I assume this is that 'get everyone who has a baby over 1 back to work' thing, but Im due a baby anyday and have no plans to return to work, I am a SAHM.

I also have 2 & 4 year old.

They said if I don't go then our money will be reduced but I can't walk far at the moment and soon will have a new baby.

The letter states I don't have to look for work if I don't want to anyways, so why make me go down there?!

But then that is to do with your DH not you. Dont understand why you would have to go there, if you are about to give birth then its pretty unreasonable.

Maybe speak to CAB?

Exactly the same thing happened to me when ds2 was due - our nearest job centre was 25 miles away, dh couldn't drive and neither could I, and there are no buses. They wanted me to attend an interview and got quite snotty about it. Dh rang and spoke to them in the end - said that if they would pay for a taxi both ways and childcare for the children after school (because I wouldn't be home in time), then of course I would attend. Funnily enough they backed down, but he had to be pretty insistant.
