Has anyone used the land registry to get hold of a title register?

I've been on the website for my mum, paid up the money for the document and thought it would arrive in my inbox but it hasn't. I've been back to look at the site and I'm now wondering if it is a pdf file that you download directly or whether you receive it in the post? So confused!!

As I remember I saved it from the site as soon as I paid, don't think I was sent an email or letter. Not sure what happens if you don't do it at the time. But was only £3 I think so not too much of a problem to try again?

thanks cyanara, thought it must be pdf but doesn't say anything on the site! Paid for it this afternoon and my mum told me she was told it would be sent in an email and I didn't check back on the site at the time! Can't seem to get back to it so will pay again...
