Can anyone tell me how to split assets following two people leaving a partnership of three. Third person has been keeping funds but is trying to call the shots by demanding everything as he will keep business running.

i nthink the principle is equal sharing of partnership assets / money ..... subject to any specific partnership agreement / to unequal contributions to patrnership assets. but sounds like some legal advice would be a good idea.

you need to take legal advice, and look out the partnership agreement that was signed when the partnership was formed.

We have a constitution which says if the partnership folds the assets have to be given to a charity. If he pushes it I know this can happen but I dont have any problem handing over certain things, its just that he is trying to make me feel guilty by taking one of the assets I have, which is about a third of the value of assets he has. I think that after three years work with no payment I should be entitled to something. He has been paid some money in the past three years and still wants everything because he is going to continue.
