Has anyone used cccs to help with debt problems.

I have rung them, and have an 'appt' on thursday, but have just been surfing and on moneysupermarket someone said that they didn't push creditors to freeze interest etc and was wondering if anyone had any experience or advice?

Many thanks

they are pretty good.

One person on moneymarket doesn't really give a full picture. Try going on moneysavingexpert.com and starting a thread with the same title.
There are lots of people on there because they are having or have had debt problems so would be able to give you some good advice.

you need the debtfreewannabee board.

You could also try the consumeractiongroup website. They have some excellent forums offering advice on dealing with debt problems. Good luck.

We are on our first month with CCCS and majority of our creditors have now frozen the interest.

We have been with the CCCS for a year now and they are fab! Our creditors stopped chasing us, we now pay a sensibile amount. Only one company has not frozen the interest but have accepted the much lower payment.
