not really sure how to find out. dh&i are both working at moment and earn approx 55k together. we currently get about £35/week tax credit. i'm thinking about stopping work, so combined income will be £25k...any one any idea how much tax credit we will get on that basis?

I don't think you'd get anything above the one child amount which is about £40 per month I think.

not very much. you'll have no childcare expenses to claim against and working tax credit tops out WAY below £25K, at about £15K gross.

Sorry per child - we only have 1 dd so get £40/45 per month.

Need to know how many children you have and ages.
How many hours your dh works.
Then i'll try and work it out for you.
