I hve spent the evening trying to reduce my direct debits - guess how much I saved?

Which £75 pa
BT £42 pa
Sky £24 pa
Pools £36 pa its DH

So only £14.75 pcm.....but it's a start

No we pay it to him by DD (same way DH pays the pools)

re the pools - I had this conversation with my friend who is currently skint, she plays the lottery and we worked out that she spends almost £450 pa on it and that she had never won anything near that. It is a bad investment in those terms.

Have a look at www.moneysavingexpert.com there is a really good budget planner and also pain free ways to save money by just shopping around.
