which mortgage companies (if any) do 90% mortgage on new builds? does anyone know?

You'll be very lucky to get a 90% mortgage at all at the moment, but it's possible if you have perfect credit record and clear ability to keep up with repayments.

Have you tried www.moneysupermarket.com and www.moneysavingexpert.com?

New-builds suffering most in credit crunch. Many developers open to huge negotiations/discounts/part exchanges/deposit schemes which may mean you do not need 90% mortgage.

thanks for those replies. i will check out moneysupermarket. it looks like halifax might do a 90% mortgage for new builds. dh has excellent credit record and income.
