Fabulous child benefit increase

The Inland Revenue have written to tell me that my child benefit is to increase - by 85p per week for 2 children .
That means I will be about £3.50 a month better off. Just think of all the things I can do.

i remember getting a similar letter last year advising me of a 20p pw increase ! woo hoo

Yes buy the bigger pack of nappies!

I'm going to spend it on sweets!!

how mean - that won't even buy a packet of fags

I've had the same letter. I'm booking my holiday to a gin-soaked paradise as I type!!

Now sponge, I've given your incredible increase some thought and I really think that it should be put in an index-linked, shareholding, privateering, isa, maxi-performing dividend paying account. I mean with that amount of capital to invest just think.... the world could you yours in a matter of days. lol
