I ask as I need to move monies from a building society account to a current account in another bank. The problem being the building society is pretty far from me and I wish to avod trekking to London with a toddler and baby. So could I ring the building society and ask to move the funds via phone or not?? I don't want to sound stupid on the phone so thought I'd sound stupid on MN and you lovely ladies would let it go
