My brother is currently in hospital after being attacked and mugged a few nights ago.

He has stitches in his head, fractured jaw, fractured eye socket, broken nose amongst various other injuries.

(Fucking Bastards)
Anyway- getting angry will get me knowhere.

My dad has mentioned criminal injuries board but im unaware of the set up.

can anyone offer any advice?

God, that sounds horrific Em . Poor bloke.

Sorry I have no info or experience re CIB. Have you googled ?

its all legal jargon- thought that someone might be able to give it to me in 'laymans terms'

Im not allowed to visit him in hospital (his rules and my dads rules) as he looks horrific.

Blimey. Does he know who attacked him ? Have they been arrested ?

tiredemma · 04/07/2008 11:47

Nope.

He was in Bham city centre on tuesday teatime,
Got on the wrong bus to come home, got off the bus and was jumped by 3 lads (in daylight).
Its reported to the police but im sure that violent robberies are ten a penny here so im not holding much hope that they will be caught. They all had their faces covered.

Think he had such a beating because he said he belted one of them, then they all piled in.
