Good places to discuss finance

I find finance interesting and would like to be able to discuss with like-minded people.

General discussion on the economy and policies, academic discussion on psychology of spending, and discussion on personal finances such as split between cash and investments and challenge on investment decisions.

Mumsnet is not the place, there are too many people struggling for it to not become personal or be seen as bragging.

I was on the motley fool about 30 years ago, where's similar now?

TMF evolved into The Lemon Fool in case you didn't know.

Moneysaving Expert has very active forums and there should be some sections with like minded people.
