HOLD shared ownership scheme

I was wondering if anyone has experience buying using this scheme. I only recently found out about it and it may be useful for my disabled daughter in the future.

It does look quite interesting as you have more options as you can buy houses on the open market but would they be able to afford the deposit and be able get a mortgage.

We would pay the deposit and then the mortgage/rent would be funded by benefits, it does appear that it does work like that.
