Just was googling my mortgage lender to find a contact no. and started to come across info about it closed down, or started to close down in April and is completely closing in July ?!? What on earth happens? Are you supposed to be informed? Do you have to sell your house? ?

They would normally sell on the debts to another company - should notify you though.

they will have been bought by another institution in all likelyhood. You will not have to sell and will probably not notice any difference. who is it then we can tell you?
