Update on credit card debt advice and support in Scotland

Last week on Friday I posted here about my problem with credit card debt. It got a bit 'heated' and the thread got deleted by admin.

I would just like to follow up by saying:

Thanks to everyone who offered me genuine advice.

I have applied for new style JSA which I didn't know was an option until I posted here, so thanks to the people that told me about it.

I have found an agency which can help advise anyone FREE about debt problems. They have taken it all in hand and I have received realistic judgement- free help in the for of a Debt Arrangement Scheme. I don't even have to speak to the Credit Card companies, they will do it for me. For anyone with a financial problem they can't solve, I recommend Debt Solutions – Moneyadvice. All is done over the phone and online in half an hour. My house is safe, there will be no bailiffs at the door, my partner is saved from stress and embarrassment. I should say that it is for Scotland only, but I think there is an equivalent one that covers the rest of the UK if you search Google etc

Sounds too good to be true, and will probably annoy the people that didn't like what I had to say.

I hope this note will help someone. When you are in trouble, don't give up hope and don't believe everything people say to you. You can find your own way through.

Happy Monday 😀
