Can someone help please. My dd left college 26 June, my statement date is 3 July. Havent had nothing from 4 - 26 june and they said because I reported the change before the statement date I won't get anything for those 3 weeks is this right?

That is correct. Universal credit don't do part payments. Any changes reported during an assessment period affect the whole period.

Yep.

Universal Credit has a number of 'thick red lines' designed to make it easier to understand. One of those is that any change reported during an Assessment Period (AP) will apply for the whole of that AP.

Please check the details on your Universal Credit statement and see how the change has been applied. Universal Credit is assessed over set assessment periods, so the timing of a change in reporting can affect the calculation. If anything on the statement doesn't seem clear, asking for an explanation through your journal can help clarify how the payment was worked out.
