Stopping The Spend!

I am two weeks into a new "money mindset" and I'm kind of crushing it, but I still find myself drawn to promotions like a greedy moth to the capitalist flame! 😂
I had a basket of TOAST sale "bargains" this morning, and at first I told myself "just one or two!" then at the checkout I realised I absolutely could not spend £200 on two pairs of trousers, and then finally I caught myself and thought: "You have so much else to do (house reno stuff) and so much credit card debt to pay down, you can't afford either of these! Stop it!"
And I stopped, but it was a close call and I just wondered if anyone else is on the same path and doing the same stuff as a kind of support network for aspirational spendy gals trying to turn over a new leaf and celebrate the small wins!

Mmeeeeee we’ve just spent all our savings on a new car (much needed!) but we need to build a little back up again! So bad for a bargain too although my vice is Vinted…

Yes!!! Congratulations on your lovely new car @Newmama4321
For ages now I've been trying to keep to only spending my Vinted balance and if don't have enough in there, I have to leave it.
It works 3 times out of 5 😂🤦‍♀️
