Loan/Finance on Mat Leave

tinyladybird · Today 10:30

Just wondering if anyone else has done this or works in the industry and could say a simple yes/know.
Long story short, I need to buy a new car as mine is not big enough. I am hoping to do part exchange and hoping to finance the 5k difference.
I am on my last month of Mat leave and will receive my wages again next month.
I could wait but just wanted to put feelers out to see if it were possible to get a loan or finance with no income. The actual monthly payment is not an issue either, I suppose more the affordability as such

Thanks

I'd suspect you will be fine as long as you can satisfy the lender about return to work and earnings.

Car dealers are far to keen to shift metal that they can decline promising purchasers.
