Help to calculate impact of time off NHS pension

I’m about to take a year off work, unpaid. I have the option to keep paying. I wouid pay my contributions only for the first 6 months, then wouid need to pay mine plus the employers after this. Can’t pay in arrears, which I assume means I’ll be paying it on zero pay so will get no tax benefit.
im trying to find info / a calculator online to work out the impact of not paying for a year (or 6 months or whatever) but it’s proving quite challenging! Can anyone help me? I’d like the impact of not paying, plus info on what I would need to pay for 0-6m then 7-12m. Ideally I’d like to keep paying but not sure I can afford it.
thanks!

Or you could contact NHSBSA via email or phone, just pose the question to them https://www.nhsbsa.nhs.uk/sites/default/files/2024-08/Survivors%20Guide%20%28V12A%29%2004.2024.pdf
If you go to the end of the guide there’s a tel no
