Advice on getting a large 888casino jackpot withdrawal paid

Anyone got advice on getting a large casino withdrawal paid? I’ve played on 888casino for a while and had plenty of small withdrawals with no problems. I’ve had good winnings on other online casinos and got my money paid with no problems at all.

However, I won a jackpot on 888casino and after selecting my withdrawal option, I’ve discovered they’ve reversed the withdrawal back to their/my account and suspended my account so I can’t even access it.

I’ve tried their online chat but I’m left waiting and I’ve taken screen shots of everything but how do I get the money?

Is there a way to escalate this?

Ok full disclosure I counsel on a gambling addiction website , I have a little knowledge of online casinos but I am no expert. If it’s a big amount then it’s most likely that they need to complete extra ID /anti money laundering checks, the first thing to do is contact them and ask. If you need further support then the best place to ask are the forums for gamblers , I know the site “Ask Gamblers” is genuine and they are helpful.

Is it a regulated site in the UK? One registered with the gambling commission? You can check this on their website and if so, their ts and cs should be clear about what you need to do.

If it’s not regulated, then you may have lost your money.

They do have a phone line 03300 532509, says open 8am - 11pm. They also have a “message us” option - have you used that? They should answer at some point and email you.

Ive heard about 888 they are awful.
I dont gamble but an old friend of mine did and won i think £150 still to year on no pay out and account closed.
Said friend now plays on 32 red or mrQ as its safer and quick payouts.
Lucky for them they dont gamble big around 40 a month.

They’ve confirmed the amount of my winnings in the live chat which I’ve screen shot. So they’re not trying to say I didn’t win it.

They say they’re doing extra security checks so I think that’s probably genuine and as you say, anti money laundering stuff. I’ve regularly won a few hundred from this particular site and got my money paid same day.

I’ve won a few grand previously with other online casinos and always got my money paid within 24 hours.

However, this time it’s over £10k so I guess I’ll have to be patient.

@CatsMagic I think once I’ve received the cash, I will look up online addiction websites as I do play daily and would like to stop now. (I always told myself I’d stop after a big win.)

Good thinking, and a sensible approach, having a big win can be trigger to addiction, it sounds like you have had a good approach so far so quitting whilst you are ahead is definitely the way to go.

I won the jackpot drop on 888 casino, dimond 47000+, I was able to withdraw £1000 went into my bank.
I went on to withdraw £10,000 received a email to say the funds have gone back to my game balance. My account has been temporarily disabled. I have heard nothing from them. Absolutely discussing! sadly I have just read this morning there were a few winners, so sadly I think they will say there was a issue. We won't be getting paid :(

Yes, I wish I’d only try to draw out less than a grand as I think it would have gone through ok.

Yes, I’ve read reports today that suggest there was a technical issue around 9:30 on Monday morning when several jackpots were dropped at once, so I suspect they’ll use that as an excuse to not pay out. ☹️

I won too the Diamond and now it has been removed from my account, cant get into the account to see what i actully won! Cant use any liks to make a complaint and the contact number just cuts off! I have requested the report of the issue to be sent to me, they do have to prove that it was a gaming error but even so i will be asking for compensation as i did think this was real and my return would have been 47600 pounds i think this is terrible from this site as they have systems in place to stop this sort of thing

I have had the same problem as well I am now blocked out of 888casino and safe cashier I have screen shots of my winnings and they are asking for my documents to verify me the phone number does not work so I am unable to contact them

See there story is changing if you won on Monday too via jackpot drop then they don't need to verify you as they are saying it's a malfunction! You can contact vis email and upload your documents via that, do that and see what happens, I hope you get your money and they don't get away with it, make a formal complaint and ask for the report that proves the malfunction also if they have reported it to the relevant overwatch
