Been a bit of a idiot.
So got 3 penalty points for Sp30 November 2024 and forgot to declare to my insurance!
Had insurance renewal last March 2025 and then few weeks later had an accident and my car was a write off which they paid.
Recieved 3 points in the post the other day from December 😞.
Just had my renewal come through from my insurance and my points aren’t in there, renewal for my evoque is £1200…. However I don’t know whether to add both points to my current insurance and risk them saying last years claim was invalid and want that back or try to find another insurance company, however looked on go compare and everywhere ants like £3800 with )400 upfront which I just can’t do.
Anyone any help on insurance and best places for quotes please
