Uc - disabled child element

My sons DLA review was raised to high rate care. This award is from the 14th of jan. Ive let uc know as of 18th of Feb they have verified that he is in receipt of high rate care. My next statement from uc is due on the 11th of March. Will the higher rate of the disabled child element be applied to this statement? Also will there be a back date due for this as it seems earliest payments will start is March?
Thanks in advance

As with any UC change it should be applied from the date the change is verified and for the whole of the relevant AP. If the award wàs in the Jan/Feb AP then there should also be arrears added.
