Child benefit

I applied for child benefit 04/10/25, it said 28 days, then they said 15 weeks, its been 19 weeks and I still haven’t had an update or even a payment? The HMRC app says Im not even claiming. They only backdate 12 weeks, when I check the response link I should of received a reply/payment by December! Has anyone else had this issue?

It sounds like they havent received your application. Did you get het an acknowledgement from them

No I haven’t heard off them myself but I have contacted them to see If they have received it and they said yes all received and If theres any problems they will give me a call. Very strange.

20 weeks tomorrow, still haven’t heard nothing. Got told to call back today to chase it up— just done so— been told my deadline is tomorrow so to call back monday now.

I applied a few weeks ago via post rather than online and I’ve not had any notification that it was received

I applied online as apparently its a quicker process, clearly not🙈x

Is it sorted OP ? I sent my form 10th Feb and got payment yesterday
