Anyone have experience with we buy any house companies and the like?

Just interested in others opinion on these companies.

im assuming they initially offer you an attractive offer then repeatedly bash you into submission with a very low offer? Or am I wrong?

No real experience, but I can tell you they do NOT buy any house, they wouldn't buy ours, the best they could suggest was an auction with a very low reserve price.

I think they buy "any pretty modern, standard build, two or three bed house in an easily accessible area, surrounded by similar houses to ensure simple valuation, that will sell quickly but with owners desperate for an even quicker sale". But that won't fit on their adverts......
