They are just pieces of salmon really
. yes the GF stuff is expensive tbf…

I paid £15 for 4 tiny bits of salmon the other day and noticed it’s ramped up hugely so you got a bargain!

Fruitfiddler · 24/01/2026 15:13

Not fussed about the price, but very intrigued by the choice of food.

Based on the fact you have kids so are a family or three or four, and I assume this is a weeks food shop...that's so little fruit and veg!?

1kg conference pears
bag of apples

Gave up half way but probably around £125? Difficult when don’t know size of things like pack of ham, bacon…

That is so cheap! We are in USA and honestly would pay probably two and half times that. Easily. Maybe more

Cyclingmummy1 · 24/01/2026 15:40

£105 but someone will remember when you bought all of that plus a bottle of wine and got change from a £20 note.

Ok so I’m in Ireland and this was in Lidl and. Tesco…it cost me €104 which is about £90. So some were bang on.

That’s a good price, I think. I was running through your list and got it to around £130, thinking it may actually be more than that as DH mainly does our shop and every time I go into a supermarket I am shocked at how much and how quickly prices have gone up.

It's a valid question, what is the point of asking people what they think things cost when she's already bought the things

It's not The Price is Right

I can't fathom how this could be interesting 😂

And I'm someone who is interested in all kinds of random stuff, but how much strangers think unknown supermarkets charge is beyond me 😂

Furlane · 24/01/2026 16:59

I find most sausages are gluten free now and aren’t any more expensive.

Im not sure I want to know what ‘ready meat pancakes’ are 🤮!!!

Namechangedforthis25 · 24/01/2026 17:01

What’s your point though? Do you think it’s cheaper than you expected?

Pricklypear26 · 24/01/2026 17:05

i added about £100-110 before u read your reply so wasn’t far wrong. Was guessing the gluten free as i don’t shop for that.
