Closing credit accounts

I've two credit accounts I no longer use, (Next and Simply Be) plus a credit card account . All have been paid off a long time ago. Is it better for my credit score to leave them open or to close them? I have other accounts that are active so do have credit elsewhere.

I usually leave mine and just keep card in a drawer. Every few yeara I close one because I open another elsewhere so it balances credit availability vs utilisation

Leave them open. If you close them your age of accounts decreases, and your total borrowing capacity decreases so however much credit you are utilising will be a larger %. If you generally have good credit though it won't be a massive difference and it should bounce back to full in three months.
