UC claim review.. second phonecall

Hi, my partner and I had a claim review at the end of November, we had to send through bank statements etc and then had a phonecall to discuss a few transactions. I was then asked to send through PayPal credit statements as I hadnt sent these through previously. We haven’t heard anything since then.
We both got a message today saying we have another claim review appointment on Tuesday for 90 mins. Has anyone else had to do this? What is it for?
I thought after discussing all our transactions the first time the review would be closed but it hasn’t been. Has anyone else had a second phonecall? I’ve honestly been worried sick about this for months now 😫

What is the nature of the paypal transactions?

ie are you receiving payments through paypal.

Depends on the volume and amounts on PayPal, are you buying and selling for profit? In which case they might want evidence of profits made

No I’m not receiving any payments through PayPal, maybe the odd payment from friends and family, but I’ve only received at total of £30 in the 4 month period that they asked for.

There are usually two phonecalls for a review. The first is fairly short and you then, as you know, receive the to-do requests for uploading documentation. The second is the main call. This is normal procedure.

Two calls are standard, with the requested documents being uploaded after the first call, then appointment being made for the second. There's nothing out of the ordinary about this.

We had an initial phonecall to ask us to send bank statements etc, then another phonecall to discuss a few transactions. So technically this would be the third phonecall

Ah I see, my apologies for misunderstanding.

Yes I was literally on the phone for 2 minutes, it was just to say that our review was complete and they were closing it 🤣

I would suggest that you ask UC why they appear to be carrying out a second review so soon after the first one. It may be that claimants are being selected at random and that you have been unlucky to be picked twice or that they have some concerns about your claim. Alternatively there may be an admin issue and the initial review hasn't been properly recorded on their system.

Hi have you had your phone call after submitting PayPal statements? How long took to receive it? After I have submitted my bank statements I mentioned I have PayPal and some money is there. Happy to send statements. They didn’t ask it and then I had first call the asked to submit PayPal! But it’s been more than 3 weeks haven’t heard from them. Even they didn’t confirm that have received my documents. I haven’t received any money in my PayPal and just purchased and refunded sometimes. They don’t know that they make people anxious😔
