Am quite good at budgeting but my budget is tight and I have never had enogh to save, to cut a long story short DP had a bad couple of years works wise and we now pay 50/50 towards the house, I have also just had a parent I childmind for go awol with no notice, owing me money.

I am over my overdraft and getting fined and can't increase it, have personal bills and household bills and I am beginning to realise - not enough money!

I am not exactly extravagent anyway so have no clue how to sort the situation out. Any ideas really appreciated.

I childmind 6.30am to 7pm five days a week, I then do paperwork, training etc in my 'spare' time unpaid.

DP needs a car to work so we can't sorn mine yet, he put towards my last tax disk as he realises I wouldn't have been taxing it otherwise.

I have dug my heels in about the car - DP has wanted to get his hands on it since I was given it, I soo want to pass my test, really need the independence!! My nana gave me the car as an incentive to pass, don't think she realises how skint I am, she is very fiesty and independent and knows what it would mean to me to be driving. I feel declaring it sorn would upset her and mean to me that I given up.

Please don't think I don't appreciate all this advice I really do - would desperately love to find £20 a week in my budget so I could get my test passed. Just seems so far away.
