Klarna addiction

Hey all,

I have ADHD and a severe Klarna addiction. Next month I owe £750 in one month! I am currently on a really good wage but most of this is going on Klarna. I got accepted a few months ago and just treated it like a credit card. I feel sick the thought I'll pay £750 next month knowing all the things that could contribute towards and my sons birthday is in march. I actually am considering just not paying it 🤦‍♀️ how do you deal with this sort of addiction?

You can spread your purchases over a longer time so that it’s more affordable.
Every time that you see something you want to buy write it down on a list.
At the end of the week, go through the list and see if you have changed your mind. If you still want it, then you can buy it. For more urgent items, wait one day.

never just buy something on a whim. Make yourself at least sleep on it and if it’s not the first thing you think about when you wake up then don’t buy it.

Agree with other posters. I wouldn’t advise to just not pay it as that will affect your credit rating

I have ADHD and it’s not relevant to my post either.

Stop using Klarna, and don’t buy things you don’t need and can’t afford.

Pay it back and let that be an end to it.

The buy now pay later cards are a disaster waiting to happen, you need to be so disciplined, lower the payment to a manageable amount, get it paid off as soon as you can manage and the close the account.
