Not now but I once was!

Facebook market place is great for stuff like baby play mats, jumpers, travel cot
, toys etc

Find out local breastfeeding group information - will save you hundreds compared to formula.

vinted often has people selling baby bundles. Do you have NCT or baby markers near you, those can be great.

Check out local children's centres, libraries, community centres and churches for free or v cheap baby groups. Our local children's centre even offers a free baby massage course but it books up quickly.

Boots baby club.
Their Recycle scheme gives you a voucher for 500 points on a £10 spend.

Aldi for nappies.

Read up on your local council baby classes, church groups, libraries are also excellent value.

Find your local mum area group on Whats app. theres always women looking to offload clothes and toys in my area.
I myself have found 2 women with children the same ages as mine -1 yr. I give them all hand me downs and it suits me and them...

This was me 10 years ago. I found a Facebook group for a wealthier area and ended up buying all the second hand things from a lady with a baby older than my child which were lovely.

Waitrose at closing time also gets some absolute bargains. I know that sounds ridiculous when you have no money but they are good value.

I didn’t buy a single thing new and my baby was absolutely fine.

Thanks all

Second hand is your friend, we got the pram, cot, car seat and lots of things from freecycle, facebook marketplace or ebay. Vinted had bundles of baby clothes.

Breastfeeding instead of formula, saves so much money and is so convenient. Perfect temp milk always available

Those that get their mat allowance paid every 2 weeks

  • is it paid the same week day each time ?

Thanks
