Dh and I both applied for credit cards - we are both company directors - same income, same everything, he’s a bit older - we both have excellent credit histories. He got a higher limit than I did. Curious don’t you think?

Identify as a man on a different application. See what happens..

I’d assume DH has a better credit rating?

No dh and I have perfect credit scores.

We have joint accounts for everything - we got separate credit cards this time because it looked like you couldn’t get a joint one.

Same happens with husband as well. Both excellent credit scores.

Although I always end up with higher credit than him as time goes on.

You can have a credit card and then add your spouse as an additional card holder. It's not a joint credit card; its a main card holder that runs the account with a 2nd card holder that has the same card number.
