help please my eldest child will going to and staying at university Sep next year I know with UC I loose the child element for her and Child benefit my question is will her maintenance loan affect my UC amount each month? As I know when she applies for it it depends on parents income also when applying do we add in what we get for UC as part of our gross income per year
please help iv called UC and the 3 x I called they had no idea and barely spoke English

No, it won't. Your child will come off your claim and become 'a person who lives with you'. Under 21s don't count as non dependent, and after that they're exempt as full time students. Her income won't affect you.
