Nationwide Flexaccount overdraft interest

If anyone else has a Nationwide Flex Account with an arranged overdraft (of around £600), could I ask how much you’re paying in interest each month?

I used to have an overdraft of £1,800 on the same account. Completely maxed out. I reduced the overdraft to around £600 a few months back and noticed that they are now charging me around £40 every month for the overdraft interest.

I checked back to when I was £1,800 in my overdraft, and they were only charging me £30 ish a month, so it doesn’t seem right?

Is it just overdraft interest or other charges too?
Their calculator says the overdraft interest would be about £15 on a £600 overdraft if overdrawn all month (interest rate is 39.9% per year)

Just overdraft interest, no other charges. Thank you!!

The interest is compounded each month though so if your overdraft was higher before you will be paying interest on the balance plus the added interest (i think)
