Tablet , laptop or desktop

I would like to try to sell things from round the house and some collectable items etc I’m currently in between jobs so if it took off id consider becoming a full time seller.

I know I could do this from my phone but id like to buy a new bit of tech as I never treat myself , and hope this will make becoming a seller easier . Which would you go for ? iPad , laptop or desktop? I’m leaning towards iPad or desktop as then could have a family computer in the house and it may be useful but id need to make the effort of getting a desk etc where as tablet I can check when watching tv etc . I just don’t know which would be best .

I’d get a laptop with a good sized screen. Tablets are too small and desktops too rigid.

I’d probably just wait until you’ve sold enough stuff to purchase something and then go with a decent tablet with a camera so you can upload stuff directly.

I already have the money to be able to buy something, I’ve been looking at the iPad mini do you think that would be good

Ah cool. Thats what I have and they are good, I’d perhaps go for one with a bigger screen though.

No point in getting a desktop PC unless it's for gaming and you need the high end graphic performance. Don't see any benefit in this option.

Id say the easiest way for you to actually sell is probably your phone in terms of taking photos etc. Typing out the descriptions could be a little tiresome but you can get a wireless keyboard that will connect to your phone.

Ipad - similar to a phone but a bigger screen. portable.

Laptop - obviously comes with a keyboard and a mouse can be added. Portable.

Do you want to get some new tech for other uses as well, or is it primarily for selling stuff?

If you can get by with selling on whatever you have now then keep doing that. Unless it is absolutely essential then why would you want to spend what will likely be £1k

I have an iPad Pro which is bigger than DHs Apple laptop. It’s all I use but I did buy a case for it with a full size keypad.

I’m not in a rush and now after thinking about it I may just use my phone or treat myself to the iPad mini 7 as apart from my phone I do not have any tech .

Just be aware that an iPad can only be signed into one account, so not suitable for sharing across multiple users.
