so were getting a divorce

and would be gratefull for any advice on money matters
we owe loads on credit cards, 8 in total mostly in my name but may i add that hardly any of that was actually spent by me (long story) im to go on benefits but husband wants to pay all the bills off for me,will they allow that?

I would imagine as long as you aren't going bankrupt (or him) your finances are up to the pair of you to arrange.

AFAIK, (and I know a bit) the courts take the view that as long as you are both happy with financial arrangements they have no interest

Whatever your financial settlement for the divorce is is up to you. All rules about transfers etc are not applicable. So yeah you can do that.
