Wonder if any accountants or finance experts can help?
My tax code allows for some work expenses but I want these off the code.
I do a self assessment and put my work expenses as zero/claimed nothing when I submitted it in January. Accountant said that would take the expenses off my code but it hasn’t?
Should a self assessment not automatically update your tax code?
Does anyone have any idea why?
I still have the expenses but they are very small and I don’t want to claim them as monitoring them stresses me out so much,
