Pls I am wondering if anyone one knows and can recommend a lender that can offer loan to someone with bad credit and CCJ. Full time employment with 2 jobs and average NET income of £3193.63 per month. Thanks in advance

anyone who will lend money with bad credit and a CCJ is someone who needs to be avoided.

what do you need the loan for? Maybe there is another option

Thank you — I appreciate the concern. I’m in stable employment and not looking for payday loans, just trying to see if any ethical lenders will work with someone rebuilding their credit. It’s for home move and I’ve already checked credit unions but had no luck.

Could you look at a credit card rather than a loan? You'll be offered a terrible interest rate but if you just use it and pay it off every month you won't accrue any interest and begin to build up a more positive credit usage picture? Maybe worth reading advice on money saving expert site?

Thanks for the suggestion. I’ve actually tried applying for a credit card before but got declined due to my credit history and a CCJ, so that route hasn’t been an option for me unfortunately. I’m definitely trying to rebuild things though, and have been looking into ethical lenders or credit unions who might work with people in my situation. Appreciate the advice and I’ll have another look on MSE too.
