UC question

I recently had a phone review of my UC .. all was ok but I was told that I now need to declare my bank acc balances every month in my journal?
Does anyone else do this?

No, this does not seem right. You only have to declare if your capital is above £6k.

Requiring you to declare your bank balances every month is not a standard 'to do' but presumably your savings/ capital are near to or above £6k? If savings are above £6k UC need the accurate figures so they can work out the correct amount of UC you're entitled to.

And if savings are near to the £16k upper capital limit, if you go above £16K you wouldn't ordinarily still be entitled to UC (unless perhaps you 'managed migrated' to UC from tax credits or the savings arose from disregarded capital...)
