My partner left me 2 weeks ago we are both self employed and have a top up from uc . We are supposed to report earnings on 2nd of the month but I can’t get hold of him to do this and I just went on my journel to tell them and they have also asked for a review 4 months statements What will happen if I can’t get hold of him I’m sick with worry

Don’t you need to change your claim to a single one?

Yes iv left it 2 weeks in the hope he come back .. but unfortunately hasn’t and seems like he’s been leading a double life I just can’t believe the review has fallen on the same time as all this . I have 3 children and don’t know what to do now

I’d just change it now and explain it’s only been 2 weeks. That’s not really that long and it’s understandable you’ve been upset and not got round to it. Best to do it now as it removes the worry about declaring his income and you can have the kids on your claim.

Yeah I was planning to do that but with them asking for a review at the exact same time he’s left I don’t know where this will leave me as iv read on here if you don’t send them the documents they close your claim and i obviously can’t send in his as I don’t have them 😩

The review will just be checking bank statements form months gone by so the fact that he has not submitted self employment earnings should not affect that review.
