Travel insurance recommendations

Hi, can anyone recommend a travel insurance company for someone who's on a waiting list? For my son who's waiting for an ADHD assessment so doesn't make him at risk of a medical emergency. All the usual comparison sites can't provide quotes 🙄 thank you!

This might help find someone that will insure.

I've used staysure and allclear while on waiting lists.

How about through your bank account.

I I had a bank account package that provided for travel insurance. I had to pay about fifteen pounds a month. And I had to have it for a minimum of six months.

However, it was worth the mummy.Because it was lifted as being the best travel insurance possible bcause it would cover preexisting.

It's worth looking into.

Thanks both for the recommendations, it's all turned into a bit of a nightmare! I don't think I've got cover thro my bank but checking. He's travelling independently so not covered on a joint policy. I'd need to fudge the 'waiting for an assessment' if i look at policy for him alone and I'm reluctant to do this even tho it's just confirming his diagnosis. Any other suggestions?!

Personally I wouldn’t go through comparison sites, but ring Staysure direct, they must come across this scenario often.

Thanks everyone, sorted now. He wouldn't have been covered by allclear on a joint policy but staysure would so gone with them even if their call centre is a pain to deal with!
