Hi,

im currently top of band 4 nhs. I plan on taking 39 weeks maternity leave with pay spread equally over these weeks. I can’t seem to figure out how much I will get. Can anyone help with this? Will my first two months be significantly lower. It’s my second baby and I got a lot more last time the first couple months than my breakdown suggested. It’s so confusing!!!

Do you want to share your breakdown? I guess it's hard to know what your workplace policy is on this, what your earnings are, whether you're part time/full time etc. If you're unsure probably best to speak to your HR dept?
