Pip Renewal - what happens

PIP Renewal. What happens. I was awarded low rate living for 3 years that 3 years will be coming to an end soon. What happens next. It should be renewed as I am currently waiting for surgery and my condition has worsened. Do I wait to hear from you or will they just stop it?

Theyll send you a renewal form, youll need to fill it out and send back and tgen theyll arrange a new assessment for you.

They will write to you before the end of the award term with a new form. Once you’ve filled it in a sent it back they will decide if you need a new assessment,

They keep paying you until a decision is made. It takes ages though - I sent my renewal form back in December and when I called they said I probably wouldn’t hear anything until November.
