I did post on chat a while ago.
2 weeks ago someone used my card online to set up an Uber eats subscription, I called the bank as soon as payment went out and they stopped my card and sent me out a new one, but in the 2 days after apparently my new card was hacked (it wasn’t) so they had to cancel the new card and send out another. This was sent out 8 days ago but the card has not arrived, because 4 of those days were weekend days they are saying it hasn’t been 7 days so nothing they can do. I can’t put fuel in my car or pop to the shop for food, I can only use the new card online, can’t use it contactless until the actual card arrives. I’m out of cash and the nearest bank is 25 miles away and isn’t open at the weekends (most banks here are now gone). Barclays have sent me other letters in the post to conform re payments from the fraudulent payments that went out, these letters arrive within 48 hours…..so why does the card take so long?
Sorry for the rant but you would have thought cards would be sent out as priority when someone’s cards have been lost/stolen or fraudulent used?
Are all banks this slow?
