invoicing website?

I am a sole trader, rarely send invoices but when I do I have been using Brightbook. Site is now refusing to email invoices although the website is still up.

So I am looking for a FREE site where I can send the occasional invoice, which will number them consecutively for me, not expect me to pay a subscription and won't bombard me with pop ups and emails.

Any suggestions?

Get a template and do your own on word? That will be free

Some of the business bank accounts offer free accounting software included such as Mettle (NatWest)

Wave is free but not making tax digital compliant and the bank account has to be manually uploaded in the UK. If you don't have too many payments going in / out that might no be a problem.

Depending on when making tax digital might affect you it might be worth getting a paid one that can handle that if it's soon

@tammienorrie when I was self employed pre covid, I used a website called Invoice Home. It was free to generate a low number/low value (cant recall ceilings but doubt would be same now). Maybe worth checking if still free and their T&Cs.

Thanks all, will check out some of the suggestions.

InvoiceNinja is free for up to 5 clients, and you can include your payment gateway so the clients just click and pay directly.
