I imagine Google might know

I don't, but google tells me that 1 Crore is ten million, so assuming you're talking about rupees, 3.6 Crore is equivalent (at today's exchange rate) to £312,418.76.

I have been googling but can't work it out!

Crore is a number. It's 10 million (or 100 lakhs, a lakh is 100,000).

The currency is rupees, and usually the exchange rate is close to 100 rupees to the pound, depending how accurate you need. (Currently 1 rupee = 0.87p)

So 1 crore = 10m rupees x 0.87 = about £87k today.
