think it's £55k total household income for Child Tax Credit, but it's a sliding scale, so if you're near that top end you'll get tuppence ha'penny a week.

for Working Tax Credit, it's £16k limit, I think.

Your local CAB can do a benefits/tax credits check, as well as a "better off" test - ie seeing what changes to circumstances would do.
