Car finance I can’t get it help

I was in accident, up until the accident I have had continuous car finance.

i have just completed my IVA (which is frustrating as I renewed my car finance for a new car last year thought the IVA.) IVA was due to a ex partner and I have satisfied and completed it.

anyways I am currently unemployed due to disability and being a carer for my child,

my take home pay is £4200 per month( expenses of £2600.)

I desperately need a new car; the insurance paid out but only £3000 I recieved due to clearing finance which means I have got a awful car that just keeps needing work,

I have money to put down a good deposit however I just am struggling to get finance; anyone used any companies that have accepted them for credit in similar circumstances?

Are you on disability benefits? Can you get mutability?

I get high care but low
mobility as scored 8… tbh my mobility is worse, awaiting a knee op which combined with my turbo is awful but I am scared to ask to be reassessed as what if they do the whole claim and then with new rules don’t award me xx

I’m surprised you can’t get finance.

@Strictly1 me too. I honestly though looking at my income; previous finances for car always payed; and I have a deposit of £5000 for the car I need which is £15000 and literally keep getting declined xx

You can save £1600 a month. Run the current car until you have saved up a few months in which time you will be able to buy something better.

Alternatively buy a used car now for £5k. You know it's possible to buy a perfectly good car for £5k right?

Corrected for you.

@Lassangoall the cars for around that have huge miles on, aren’t automatic which is a necessity. I do a lot of driving so I need something with low miles and fairly new so less issues. The car I found comes with long warranty. I need a suv type as need the height for getting in and out of easier
